Brignone returns to winning ways in Lienz Giant Slalom

In one of the tightest Giant Slalom races in recent years, Federica Brignone took the race win from Viktoria Rebensburg with Mikaela Shiffrin in third, all three separated by just 0.08 seconds. Rebensburg had lead after the first run with Shiffrin just behind her and Tina Robnik in a surprise third. Brignone was fourth with Sofia Goggia in fifth. With the French setting the second run, the pack was shuffled big time. Tessa Worley managed to improve to fourth with rising Austrian star Stephanie Brunner taking fifth.
