Ross Peraudo from Australia overhauled the slender lead of top seed Marco Reymond in the first of two FIS Slaloms that constitute the Welsh Alpine Championships this year. Peraudo, a Europa Cup racer from Australia, charged hard on the second run to overhaul the seven hundredths that separated the leading two racers after the first run to post the fastest second run time.
