Yasmin Cooper and her fellow European Youth Olympic Festival British team member, Sofia Iglina, battled it out along with a host of Americans and Italians for honours in the first of two FIS Slaloms in Morgins. Both British racers finished in the top ten in a race that was won by American Teneya Standteiner ahead of her teammate Isabella Wright with Italian Giulia Pession, the top seed prior to the race in third.
