Injury disrupts Tilley's summer programme

While many of the top racers down in New Zealand were partaking in the opening races of the prestigious Winter Games in Coronet Peak in New Zealand, one Alex Tilley competing at the Delancey British Alpine Championships in March 2013British racer was having to watch from the sidelines. Alex Tilley, winner of two early season FIS races has injured her knee after hitting a gate with it in training Giant Slalom. Her coach, Stefan Moser, explained to Racer Ready that she has bruised her knee ligaments and has a little swelling but 'it is nothing dramatic." Moser added that 'she could not ski.' No racer likes being injured and Tilley will be back on her skis soon.
