3Tre looks forward to a crowded Canalone Miramonti on December 22nd

The road to the 69th edition of the 3Tre Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Night Slalom has started: on Thursday, August 4th, the FIS Team was welcomed by the 3Tre Committee on the Canalone Miramonti slope for the traditional summer inspection by the delegation from the World’s ski federation.

The meeting also served as an opportunity for the LOC to meet in the buildup to the slalom classic, to be held in Madonna di Campiglio, on Thursday, December 22nd.

On a sunny morning, the 3Tre Committee greeted two known faces in FIS Ski Men’s World Cup Chief Race Director Markus Waldner andEmmanuel Couder, new Alpine Operational Event Coordinator of the International Ski Federation, as well as two new entries: Janez Hladnik (Race Director of the FIS Men’s World Cup for technical disciplines) and Charlotte Chable (Media Coordinator of the FIS Men’s World Cup).

In addition to the traditional slope inspection, the 3Tre Committee and the FIS delegation have shared updates, novelties and ideas in view of the 2022/23 season, with the hope of leaving behind the COVID restrictions of the last two.

“As usual, the FIS inspection took place in great harmony and friendship, consolidated by years of collaboration and quality events, even through the challenges of the last two editions”, said 3Tre President Lorenzo Conci.

In the next FIS Meeting scheduled in Zurich, the COVID-related guidelines for the 2022-2023 World Cup will be decided. “We have to wait for the decisions of the Internationa Ski Federation, but we feel cautiously optimistic. Our hope is to organize an edition without restrictions, as it’s now happening in other sports. In this spirit, we are also working to relaunch our promotional “3Tre on Tour”, which helped us to build significant relations and to meet our fans in the last years” Conci concluded.
