Sara Hector leads the way after the first run in the second of the two Giant Slaloms in Courchevel. Tessa Worley is in second just 0.11 back with Mikaela Shiffrin in third 0.34 back. Marta Bassino is in fourth just 0.39 back with Petra Vlhova in fifth just over half a second back.
With just three from outside the top thirty making the second run, this was a high quality race. Given the gap between first and thirtieth on the first day, over five seconds, the gap of 3.63 between the top qualifiers.
With Goggia and Curtoni out, the race for the overall has swung further in Shiffrin's favour.
