The racing was almost as hot as the weather as the GBR Series made its customary stop in Pontypool for the first of two races. Lauren Vale emerged with victory in the first race with the fastest time on both runs. After a tight first run Eva Pascoe took second with local racer, Georgia Hyett taking third. Ellie Jackson and Eleanor Eaves rounded out the top five finishers.
