A closed road up to the Swiss resort of Adelboden did not deter the big names in Men’s World Cup Giant Slalom from fighting out a high quality Giant Slalom. Marcel Hirscher took the win, his sixth win of the season, ahead of a resurgent in Giant Slalom Henrik Kristoffersen with Alexis Pinturault taking third in a race that he won by 0.04 last year. Luca de Aliprandini took fourth with Manuel Feller taking joint fifth with Zan Kranjec.
