Iain Innes lived up to his promise that he made on Social Media with victory in the opening Men's race of the Delancey British Alpine Championships. Innes stated that he was going to Tignes looking to back up the prodigious form he showed last year as an Under 18 and was after wins. One race, one win so far. Innes was top British racer with Billy Major and Zak Vinter joining him on the British podium. The international race was won by Nils Allegre with fellow Frenchmen Mathieu Bailet and Roy Piccard joining him on the podium just ahead of 34 year old World Cup racer David Poisson.
