Jansrud blitzes slalom leg to win Alpine Combined in Wengen

He may have been outshone by his teammate this year, but Kjetil Jansrud showed a clean pair of edges (almost) to win the Alpine Combined in Wengen from Svindal and Adrien Theaux. Jansrud was third after the Downhill section, 0.90 behind Svindal but proved to have more explosive Slalom skills to grab his second win of the season. Svindal was four hundredths behind the winner and  Theaux  just thirteen hundredths in a great contest.
