Svindal gives the World a downhill lesson

Aksel Lund Svindal produced one of the all-time classic runs down the Lauberhorn to win the 86th running of the famous race. The Norwegian destroyed Klaus Kroell's time by over one and a half seconds in the finish and then had a scare as Hannes Reichelt challenged his run. Kroell held on to take his best result in almost two and a half years for third place. The race was marred by a number of interruptions for fog drifting across the course.
