Norway dominate the podium in Val Gardena

They had done it before in Slalom and the Combined race but never in the Super G or a speed race. This was the Norwegians owning the podium. First Aleksander Aamodt Kilde posted a time that had the better of everyone until Aksel Lund Svindal came down and then Kjetil Jansrud made it a Viking podium in taking second place. Svindal and Jansrud are accustomed to being in the battle for the race win, but this was Kilde's first podium spot after spending most of the last year injured. While the baton has not been passed on yet, the Norwegians do have a habit of finding talent and bringing them on to the World Cup success trail regularly.
