Snowsport England honoured former Olympian and GB racer and official Sarah Lewis as she celebrated 20 years at FIS and 14 years as the Secretary General of the sports global governing body. After receiving her award on Saturday evening she was on a plane Sunday morning to see the Lowland Indoor Championships in Belgium which was hosted by Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg and GB. The race was being held for the first time in 20 years.
Snowsport England CEO Tim Fawke said: 'This has been a fantastic weekend of racing, celebrating and planning for Alpine racing. These events were managed, organised and executed by a team of volunteers, officials, teachers and Snowsport England employees to bring our sport to life across England and in Belgium. It is a great tribute to the efforts and time put in to bring new experiences, new knowledge at the same time as celebrating the very best in our sport. Mark Vinter and Sarah Lewis operate at different ends of the scale in our environment  and both deliver excellence that should be an example to us all.”
