Tina Maze grabs the win in Lake Louise Downhill 1

Tina Maze was all smiles and feeling very vindicated for missing the final training run as she took victory in the opening Women's downhill of the season in Lake Louise. Maze had felt a little apprehensive in deciding to miss the final training run but felt that with it being a long week if a racer was doing all three training runs and the three races that it was a gamble worth taking. With a winning margin of almost half a second over Anna Fenninger, Maze was delighted to have the win in her pocket.
