Alcott has been the mainstay of the British Team at the last two Olympics yet Sochi will be her fourth Games. She has twice finished 11th in the Olympics: in the Super Combined in 2010 at Whistler and also in the Downhill at San Sicario at the Turin Games in 2006. Had the weather been with her that day, her result could well have been well inside the top ten.
Chemmy is currently on the road to recovery having broken her leg training on the Glaciers with the Norwegian team so this is some great news to help aid her recovery.
