Quotes

Dominique Maltais (CAN), first: I'm super happy. It was a perfect weekend and a perfect season so far, too.

We had some bad luck in the past and have never been able to win this one. Last night, we were super pumped to win this one and finally leave with the Gold from this team event.

Seth Wescott (USA), first: I messed up that upper flat. I got out in the powder. I waited and played the draft to the end. I knew if I was on him coming to that last jump that I would be able to get him by the finish line. It was tight.

As I said yesterday it's so nice to feel healthy again. I think my head really wasn't in it last week in Austria, so it's nice to come home to the States and get the focus going and feel like I'm riding good again.

Tomaso Leoni (ITA), second: That was my second World Cup and it was amazing to make the last run with the best riders in the world. I'm very excited. This is the best day in my live.

It was very close. We were a bit unlucky but that's OK.

The 2013 FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup - One Tour, One Champion

The 2013 FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup consists of ten competitions on top courses all over the world, featuring both individual and team competitions and always focused on the goal of delivering quality over quantity.

Each course is purpose-built with freestyle-based features such as big table-top jumps, wu-tangs, step-ups, step-downs, rollers and banked turns that provide several opportunities to overtake.

Depending on the venue, the course features are built to accommodate spectacular four or six rider heats and to provide intense head-to-head, fast-paced action.

The FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup is the only tour of its kind and fully supported by both riders and teams. The global circuit features the world's best female and male athletes at every World Cup stop, including World Champions and Olympic medallists who are fighting to become the overall champions of the season.

This season's top highlight will be the FIS Snowboard World Championships at Stoneham, Quebec (CAN) at the end of January 2013.
