Walter Reusser, Director of Alpine Skiing, together with the head coaches Beat Tschuor (women) and Thomas Stauffer (men) as well as the head of junior skiing, Hans Flatscher, has made the squad selections for the 2022/23 season.
For the coming season, there will be 16 athletes in the national team. With Joana Hählen and Niels Hintermann (both most recently A-squad) and Stefan Rogentin (most recently B-squad), three new faces have been promoted to the highest Swiss-Ski squad.
Almost 100 athletes were accepted into one of Swiss-Ski's alpine squads – two fewer than in the previous season.
A total of nine athletes have given their retirement from alpine ski racing during the 21/22 season.
