Austria announce restrictions for watching World Cup events after New Year

The Austrian Ski Federation (ÖSV) have announced the restrictions that will be in place regarding planned spectator capacities of the first ÖSV World Cup events after the turn of the year. According to the currently valid COVID regulation, a maximum of 4,000 spectators may be admitted to assigned and marked seats at outdoor events. In close coordination between the ÖSV, the local organizing committee and the responsible authorities, the preparatory work for the events below is designed for the following audience figures:

Innsbruck Four Hills Tournament (January 4th):
- Final 4,000 spectators (including VIP area) on assigned seats
- No spectators in the qualification

Bischofshofen Four Hills Tournament (5th / 6th January):
- Final approx. 3,500 spectators (including VIP area) on assigned seats
- Qualification approx. 1000 spectators on assigned seats

Bischofshofen Ski Jumping World Cup (8/9 January):
- Approx. 3,500 spectators per day (including the VIP area) on assigned seats

Flachau Alpine Ski World Cup (January 11th):
- Around 2,000 spectators (including the VIP area) in assigned seats

Zauchensee Alpine Ski World Cup (January 15/16):
- Approx. 500 spectators per day (incl. VIP area) on assigned seats

Information for spectators: All tickets purchased (except for VIP areas) will be canceled and refunded. People who have already bought tickets for one of these events will have the right of first refusal for the newly designated seats until December 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. In the case of online buyers, the reverse transaction is carried out automatically and customers can make use of their right of first refusal online. People who have bought their ticket at a ticket sales point can cancel their ticket at and are also given the right of first refusal for the newly designated seats. The VIP tickets remain valid, a seat is allocated here.

Official ticket sales will start online and in advance booking offices on December 21, 2021 at 10 a.m.!
Current regulation (subject to change): 2G for spectators + personalized event ticket + assigned and marked seat.
