Clissold takes win in La Parva Slalom

Honor Clissold has started the new season in great form! A win in Giant Slalom in El Colorado has now been followed up with a win in the Slalom at El Parva in Chile. Clissold explained on her Facebook page that it feels good to be skiing better and better and while she crashed in the second in the Giant Slalom, this happens when you are pushing yourself to the limit.

In El Parva, Clissold was fastest on both runs to win by a convincing 1.57 seconds as she scored a 73 point slalom result, her second best slalom result in the last year! Lois Jackson took seventh in the same race. After the race Clissold explained “Slalom is now getting better slowly but surely.”

In the Men's slalom, Leo Karavisili finished in fourth, a second off the pace set by the race winner, Argentina’s Tiziano Grezier. Robert Holmes took sixth place and Ireland’s Gareth Reilly seventh.

Both NJR Giant Slalom’s were cancelled.
