Sam Carson used his power and strength as well as his technique to post the quickest time on both runs in the opening BSA sponsored GBR Indoor Series race at Chill Factore. Oliver Weeks and Oliver Farr joined Carson on the Overall podium but neither could live with his speed and power as he won by almost a second.
