Major takes Junior Slalom title in race of attrition

Billy Major added the British Junior Slalom title to his Delancey British Downhill title as the FIS racing wrapped up in Tignes. After five days of perfect visibility, the last race on the calendar saw a heavy snow fall and poor visibility for the racers to contend with. A very high attrition rate saw just two of the top fifteen seeds make both runs with Major finishing in fourth place overall in his last British race as a junior. Iain Innes came second in the British racers to capture the Junior Overall title with Duncan Kuwall emerging in third place among the British Junior racers. The race was won by Axel Esteve of Andorra with Lukas Oberlader and Florian Zarchling, both from Austria joining him on the International podium.
