Tilley raises the bar as she finishes 13th in Courchevel

Alex Tilley has long been acknowledged as a very talented racer and in Courchevel she took another step forward in making the World take note of her performances. Sitting in 20th after the first run the British Ski Academy and Gordon Skiers trained racer rose to 13th in tough conditions and with this has risen to 25th in the Giant Slalom World Cup standings. Mikaela Shiffrin may have won her 34th career World Cup race but Alex Tilley is starting to make the world of ski racing take note that Britain has more racers than just Dave Ryding. Tessa Worley and Manuela Moelgg joined Shiffrin on the podium with Ragnhild Mowinckel and Nina Haver-Loeseth rounding out the top five finishers.
