Marcel Hirscher swapped his skis for the second run in Alta Badia and tore out a lead of 1.70 seconds over the rest of the field to win his fifth Giant Slalom in a row down the Gran Risa course in Alta Badia. Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen took second with Zan Kranjec taking the first podium from a Slovenian in 16 years in Giant Slalom. Justin Murisier and Ted Ligety rounded out the top five finishers.
