Ryding places 16th in close fought affaire

Dave Ryding "got a bit unlucky with the weather" he admitted on the second run yet still managed to hold his own with the best Slalom skiers in the world to take 16th in the Wengen Slalom, one of the classic races of the season. While Henrik Kristoffersen made it a complete Norway victory weekend, Marcel Hirscher skied out on the second run so it was left to Italy to fill the podium places through Giuliano Razzoli and Stefano Gross.
