Jack Gower put the heart ache of losing two close training buddies behind him in a recent avalanche in Austria to negotiate the tricky Qualifying race for the Men's GS at the World Championships with second place. Gower is a past Junior 1 World Champion in Giant Slalom and while he has slipped behind Charlie Raposo in terms of FIS points, Gower is still no slouch when it comes to using the GS boards.
