When the fog comes in and hovers over a race course the expression hurry up and wait comes to mind. Kitzbuehel is special on the World Cup calendar and with 50,000 fans waiting in the finish area, it is important to have the race. With the middle section of the famous course shrouded in fog, the only option for the race to happen was moving it down to below Seidelalm. The racers did not like this so much but the common denominator was 'safety first.' ...
