Jansrud wins in Lake Louise

Kjetil Jansrud won the training run on Wednesday and backed up his early season form with victory in the opening downhill of the season. After two days of snow that had seen the course conditions change dramatically, Jansrud, so often in the past a slow starter in the season, has now set the standard required for the speed races. With first Guillermo Fayed jumping into second and then Manny Osborne-Paradis equalling his time, two of the later runners from the top thirty starters bumped last years winner Dominik Paris and Scott McCartney off the podium as the race wound down. ...
