The three-time Olympic champion and Austria's most successful alpine ski racer at the Winter Olympics is now the official ambassador for the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships 2025 in Saalbach.
“I want to share my passion for skiing with all fans and do my part for a successful World Ski Championships,” says the 33-year-old from Carinthia, who has been advising the speed teams since this season, looking forward to this new, exciting event Task.
Prestigious role
The Saalbach double winner from 2015 was also impressed by the World Cup concept from the start. “It is a great honor for me to take on this role. Skiing was and still is my life. I have been to many major events and have experienced a lot in my career. I was enthusiastic about the overall concept for the World Cup in Saalbach and am convinced that I will be able to experience a real sports festival in February 2025.
