British speed events have been struggling for some iconic leaders since Finlay Mickel, Dougie Crawford and TJ Baldwin all moved on to pastures new. The rise of Jack Gower has been impressive but his absence from the Delancey British Alpine Championships left a void that needed to be filled. Both Charlie Raposo and Iain Innes have been knocking on the door for different reasons and in the Super G in Tignes, Raposo and Innes stepped up and shared the title with Billy Major taking third.
