There is a new optimism around British winter sport. Medals at the Olympics, impressive world cup results across the disciplines governed by British Ski and Snowboard (BSS) and a realisation that if this progression is to continue, then the reliance on UK Sport funding as well as the historical support of Delancey, cannot be the only source of income. Looking outside the box and bringing together as one team across all the disciplines that the governing body controls at the elite end, has been instigated by the new CEO directing things.
