“It is great to be able to race in the sunshine,” explained Jared Goldberg after posting the fourth fastest training run from the first training run for the World Championships Downhill in St Moritz. With the Corviglia track bathed in sunshine for the first training run, it was Beat Feuz who, like in the World Cup Finals in March 2016, posted the fastest time followed by Brice Roger and defending champion Patrick Kueng. The second training run saw Vincent Kriechmayr top the charts ahead of Feuz and Matthias Mayer.
