The tag line for the Killington World Cup races is #BeastWorldCup. Mikaela Shiffrin gave the rest of the field a complete and utter beasting to lead after the first run in the Slalom. 0.89 separates her from Wendy Holdener in second and 3.51 seconds to 30th spot. It was that comprehensive demonstration of how to ski the Peter Dyson set course that few racers came through the finish believing they had skied well. It was more that Shiffrin skied an awesome run. Bernadette Schild is sitting in third place with Frida Hansdotter in fourth and World Cup Slalom leader Petra Vlhova in fifth 1.45 back.
