World Champion Jacqueline Loelling takes gold in Whistler with World Lead Nikitina missing the race

Jacqueline Lölling (GER) has celebrated her first win of the season in the BMW IBSF World Cup in Whistler (CAN). The World Champion won the third race of the winter 2017/2018 season on the track used for the 2010 Olympics. On her first run, Jacqueline Lölling was just six hundredths of a second off the track record for Whistler Sliding Centre (53.68 seconds), which was set by Amy Williams (GBR) in her Olympic win in February 2010.
