In a race littered with crashes and near misses Olympic Champion Kaillie Humphries of Canada won the women’s bobsleigh event at the BMW IBSF World Cup in Whistler. With Melissa Lotholz taking on the role of brakewoman, the local hero pushed the defending World Cup holder Jamie Greubel Poser (USA, 0.48 seconds back) with Aja Evans into second place.
