It is the breeding ground for World Cup racers, the Europa Cup is a tough nut to crack and Nick Moynihan battled from a start number of 91 to finish in 39th spot in the first Davos Europa Cup Giant Slalom. With only the top 60 getting a second run and the top thirty scoring Europa Cup points, Moynihan put the effort in and was rewarded with a promising result. Norway's Marcus Monson won the race as Scandanavians took the first four places: Samu Torsti (FIN), Rasmus Windingstad and Bjoernar Neteland (both NOR) took third and fourth.
