Austria’s Marcel Hirscher is 0.01 seconds in front of Mathieu Faivre of France going into the second run of the giant slalom in Val d’Isere, France. Another Frenchman Thomas Fanara is 0.44 seconds off Hirscher in third place. Four French skiers are in the top six.
