The international Ski Federation has conducted an inspection of the Saslong course on July 9th in preparation of the ski races in December. ...

FIS Race Directors Markus Waldner and Hannes Trinkl have walked the World Cup course top to bottom in the company of OC Technicians, Race Director Rainer Senoner and Course Director Horst Demetz, as well as representatives for TV production. Several improvements have been identified impacting safety measures at the Camel Humps, the spectator-friendly Jägerhaus and entry to the Finish Schuss (Nucia). Larger investments are necessary in these areas that will be undertaken by the lift company Saslong AG. As for TV production, a few new and additional camera points have been selected along the Camel Humps, the most spectacular section of the Downhill, and at the technically challenging entry to the Ciaslat.

The World Cup Races in  in Val Gardena/Gröden take place on December 18th and 19th, 2015. The Super-G is set for Friday, the Downhill for Saturday.
