Dave Ryding made his entry to the Delancey British Alpine Championships and retained his British Title with what he described as 'not vintage skiing.' In a race that saw a large number of racers crashing out on both first and second runs, Ryding used his experience, his guile and ability to take the win ahead of Billy major with Alex Barounas in third. Ryding was determined to win the British Title as he explained after the race that he "was not prepared to put it all on the line as it means something to me to win a British Title." This was the Rocket's sixth British Slalom title. ...
