Tina Maze survived a wobble on the final run in to the finish at the World Championship Downhill to win her eighth World Championship medal, her third Gold and reverse the fortunes from the Super G. Anna Fenninger had earlier put in an awesome run that had seen her take the lead by over a second was edged out of the lead by just two hundredths of a second. Lara Gut could not live with the two and had to settle for third place ahead of Nici Schmidhofer, Lyndsey Vonn and liz Goergl who finished in places four to six. ...
