More Success for Britain in New Zealand - Guest and Tilley on podium

This time it was the turn of Charlie Guest to post the best British result in the FIS races in Cardrona: Charlie Guest took second place behind Japan's Moe Hanaoka with Alex Tilley in third. As in the previous day's race, Guest posted the fastest second run time but could not overhaul the Japanese girl's lead of  almost a second. After a career best GS result the previous day, Guest bettered her best GS FIS point result with this result. After her nine point result last season, Tilley has some way to go to better her career best result but these are still a solid results for the two British girls. Cara Brown added another 63 point to her resume and rising talent Issy Kirk posted a solid result that will now see her start FIS races back in Europe ahead of the racers with no points - job done. With two British racers on the podium, the future of women's racing is looking brighter and hopefully this will encourage more companies like Delancey to support the growing talent coming from the British ranks. Victoria Bell (Ireland) scored a sub 100 point result in placing 25th.

The British guys did not have such promising results in the second of the two GS's: Laurie Taylor posted the best of the times with Thomas Waddington and Jake Gilkinson further down the field while Sam Todd Saunders came out on the first run.
