Jumps, bumps and smiling faces around the stubbies for the youngest

If ever there was a race in the summer that was a great advert to encourage racers into the sport of ski racing in the summer, this was it. With two small bumps on the course for the stars of the future to negotiate, some tried to get air, some tried to squash the bumps while others just enjoyed the thrill of going fast through the stubbies and down the slope.

Isla Ward won the under 10's race ahead of her sister Erin with Grace Bennett in third. Maisie Burton took the win in the under 12's girls race with Riley Maze-Brown in second and Ellie Jackson third.

In the boys races, Kayne Stanway took the under 10 race win with Lucas Ellis in second and Oz Meadley in third while Elliot Bennett took the older age group win and Harry Collier and Mikey Dunne joined him on the podium.

And it all happens again on the Sunday!
