Tough day for Swiss team with injuries

It has been a tough week for the Swiss Ski Team, both men and women as two of their rising stars have suffered injuries.

Arnaud Boisset fell during the World Cup downhill in Beaver Creek on Friday. When landing after a jump, he fell and had to be transported away. Initial on-site examinations revealed a concussion and bruises to the face and shoulder area. Arnaud will travel back to Switzerland in the coming days for further examinations.

On the women's team, Noémie Kolly injured her left knee in a fall during a Super-G training session in Copper Mountain (USA) on December 4, 2024. Back in western Switzerland, the 26-year-old from Freiburg underwent medical examinations which confirmed a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament and a tear in the external collateral ligament. This injury forced the skier from Swiss-Ski's B squad to end her season early. She will have surgery next week.
