Marco Kohler injures his knee
Neil McQuoid
29 January 2024
Marco Kohler fell during the World Cup downhill in Wengen on Thursday.
The athlete from the B squad injured his right knee. The examinations so far have revealed a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament, the internal meniscus and a strain in the internal ligament.
He was successfully operated at the Hirslanden Clinic in Zurich. The athlete suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, an injury to the inner and outer meniscus and a strain to the inner ligament.
“If the rehabilitation goes well, Marco will be able to get back into racing next winter,” said team doctor Walter O. Frey.
