Meet Zrinka Ljutic - the Croatian sensation

At just 19 years of age, Zrinka Ljutic, or Zizi as she is known, is an alpine skier from Croatia who specialises in Slalom and giant slalom. She burst on to the wold scene in winning the World Junior Slalom title in 2022 and has backed this up with three wins on the Europa Cup tour plus a podium on the World Cup last season. In short, she is bring a breath of fresh air to the World Cup that is dominated by Mikaela Shiffrin, Petra Vlhova and Wendy Holdener with few others making the podium over the last few years.

Zizi is supported a daily basis by her family, she is trained by her father and his unique methods, the precocious talent inspires and intrigues. Zizi explained "we did a lot of different sports as a family. It is maybe the crucial part of me becoming an alpine skier."

Away from skiing she has a wide range of interests and never forgets to take time out to skate with friends, ride the mountain bike trails in resorts where she stays, get on a snow board from time to time and above all spend her summers in the shores of the Adriatic Sea windsurfing and kitesurfing.

Away from sport, Zizi is also a talented guitarist wholes to play tunes by bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Foo Fighters and Rage Against The Machine.
