ATC add to their exciting roster of coaches

ATC is excited to announce the addition of a new Head Coach for the ATC U14 programme for the 2020/21 season.

Kate Angus is the new Under 14's Head Coach for ATC. She is recently back from Canada where she has been coaching with the Whistler Mountain Ski Club, one of Canada's largest and most successful clubs. As a qualified school teacher, ex National team athlete and Internationally qualified coach, Kate brings a wealth of experience to the successful ATC coaching team.

“Kate has a great deal of life experience on and off the slopes. This diversity of skills, energy and experience Kate brings will have a very positive impact on our growing and talented U14 team," explained Sean Langmuir, ATC Director.

In addition, Kate will be taking on the new Education Coordinator role with ATC. This post is aimed primarily at offering educational support to young athletes on camps abroad.

Langmuir adds “As our young athletes progress through the sport we recognise the need to build clearer communication pathways and put in place an education support programme to ensure that homework and studies get done while on camps abroad. Kate's background and experience as a school teacher makes her ideally suited to manage ATC’s new Education Support programme.”

Kate joins a strong team of coaches including Iain Innes (ex GB Overall Champion), Andrew Freshwater (Olympian), Murray Howie (Programme Manager & U12 Lead), Lachlan Veitch (U14 coach) and Sean Langmuir (Olympian and ex GB Champion).

The next ATC camp is from 5 - 8 August at Landgraaf. ATC run camps in the UK and abroad and strive to improve athletes performance through hard work, dedication and fun.
