Alldridge and Kamaly-Asl take top spots in Milton Keynes Club National

James Alldridge and Anna Kamaly-Asl posted the combined fastest times for the Club National at Milton Keynes. Kamaly-Asl posted the fastest time on the first run and held on to take the win ahead of Hannah Dennison and Lauren Vale. In the Men's race James Alldridge was the class act as he posted the fastest time ahead of two of the unheralded but fast improving racers, Isaac Cutting and Joseph Thompson.

The first run in the girls race saw Ellie Jackson and Emma Trust come to grief but this did not stop Kamaly-Asl edge out Dennison with the rest trailing. Both racers are fast improving and will be names to watch out for when the winter gets going. Lauren Vale admitted prior to the race that she was not as comfortable on the snow as she was on the matting yet by the time the second run came about, the three race GBR winner on the matting this summer was getting to grips with the lumpy snow on the Milton Keynes Snowfactor slope.

Vale tied with Dennison for the fastest time of those still in with a chance of racing in the combined race and Dennison just missed out on dislodging Kamaly-Asl from the race win. Ellie Jackson posted the fastest second run time, half a second ahead of Isabel Lincoln who moved up to fourth overall with Nia Both taking fifth.

Isaac Cutting gave Alldridge a run for his money on the first run finishing just 0.18 behind him with the rest of the field some way of the pace. Joseph Thompson raised his game significantly on the second run to finish just a tenth off the pace of Cutting in taking third place overall.

The girls age groups were won by Holly Tutt (Under 14), Anna Kamaly-Asl (Under 16), Nia Boty (Under 18), Lauren Vale (Under 21) and Lucy Newman (Masters).

The mens age groups were won by Samuel Dunn (Under 14), Isaac Cutting (Under 16), Joseph Thompson (Under 18), Michael Longstaff (Under 21), Adam Kent (Senior) and James Alldridge (Masters).
