With many of the alpine racers already out in Europe for training camps, the good quality if limited in terms of numbers Gordons Indoor field saw Amy Stokoe win the girls race ahead of Holly McKey with Robyn Walker taking third overall. The top five was rounded out by Taylor Langmuir and Daisy Cowie. In there men's race, Johnny Marshall was the class act as he won by over a second ahead of Alistair Hall and Fraser Hunter while Ryrie Hodge and Ross McIntyre rounded out the top five.
The first run had been a fairly tight affair with Stokoe leading by almost two tenths from Mckey but then McKey came storming back on the second run to close the difference to just six hundredths between the top racers. Walker had been within touching distance of McKey after the first run but ended almost half a second off the pace after the second run.
In the Men's race, Marshall lead comfortably from Hunter with Hall just behind and Hodge in class attendance. Marshall turned on the style on the second run to extend his lead to over a second while Hunter and Hall swapped places after a disappointing run by Hunter.
Gracer Cameron won the Under 12 race from Brooke Baxter with Harrier Scoular in third. Isla Cameron won the Under 10 age group. In the boys race Calum Hunter took a very troghtly contested race from Alex McDonald and Charlie Saunders, the three separated by just 0.04 seconds. Aaron McDonald took the Under 10 win in fourth place overall.
The girls age groups were won by Daisy Cowie (Under 14, 5th overall), Amy Stokoe (Under 16, Race Winner), Holly McKey (Under 18, 2nd Overall),
The men's age groups were won by Paul Marshall (under 14, 6th Overall), Ryrie Hodge (Under 16, 4th Overall), Johnny Marshall (Under 18, Race Winner) and Stuart Gillies (Masters).
