The final race of the 2018 British Ski Academy sponsored GBR Series was a fitting climax to the series: Ten racers were within half a second of the leader after the first run and this meant that Sam Carson needed to raise his game to win the race and pull himself up into second overall. Robert Holmes had all but secured the series in winning the fourth round and in taking second, he put the result beyond doubt. Toby Case took third in the race with Will Manns and Johnny Marshall rounding out the top five in a hugely exciting race.
