Fourth overall World Cup win for bobsleigh pilot Kaillie Humphries European Champion Stephanie Schneider wins final World Cup.

Kaillie Humphries of Canada is the overall winner in the 2017/2018 BMW IBSF World Cup. Three weeks ahead of the opening to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang (KOR), the two-time Olympic Champion brought the World Cup season to a close with her fourth overall win following her victories in 2013, 2014 and 2016.

The World Cup final in Königssee (GER) was won by the European Champion Stephanie Schneider (GER). She was followed by Kaillie Humphries/Phylicia George (CAN, 0.29 seconds back) and World Champion Elana Meyers Taylor/Lauren Gibbs (USA, 0.32 seconds back).

In the overall standings for the 2017/2018 BMW IBSF World Cup, Kaillie Humphries (CAN, 1,631 points) finished a total of 40 points in front of Elana Meyers Taylor (USA, 1,591), who finished on the podium at seven out of the eight World Cup races this Olympic season. The 2017 European Champion Mariama Jamanka of Germany (1,538) finished in third overall.

GBR Pairing of Mica Mcneill and Montell Douglas finished in 17th spot after a near upset in run 1 with the sled taking a huge hit in a high speed corner, following that Douglas was not being able to take the 2nd run and reserve Mica Moore deputised.
