Super G at Delancey British Champs snowed off for today - what next?

The first race of the 2017 Delancey British Alpine Ski Championships has fallen foul of the weather. Almost 50cm of fresh snow has fallen over the course of the last two days and with the condition of the existing snow, this did not allow for the race to happen. It is not often that you hear of the Technical Delegate, the man who signs off the race legally still being in a rattrack at nine o'clock the night before a race, but Dominique Petit was doing his hardest to give the race every opportunity to run. Sadly the odds were stacked against him and the decision was made early to postpone the race for one day.
